Failure Prediction of Automotive Components Utilizing a Path Independent Forming Limit Criterion

An area in the automotive industry that receives a lot of attention today is introduction lighter and more advanced material grades order to reduce carbon emissions, both during production through reduced fuel consumption. As complexity introduced materials component geometries increases, so does need for complex failure prediction approaches.
